MySQL Information

To access the "Family Tree" database (ftree), log in to phpMyAdmin.  Currently, there are albums, photos and people tables in that database.  The scripts also maintain a log of changes to the database in the /logs folder.

As part of phpMyAdmin's graphical interface, you can type SQL commands directly into an SQL Query Window.  Refer to the MySQL Reference Manual and MySQL Language Reference for more information about SQL commands.

Family Tree Accounts

The following accounts have been created in the server's "Domain TheParsons Users" group, which has access to /trees/updates/people:

In addition to the above accounts, the following accounts have also been created with access to /photos/albums:

You can also inspect all the photos that have been moved to "Trash" before emptying it.

Client Browser Information

Windows XP's IE sets $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] to "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)"

Pocket PC's Pocket IE sets $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] to "Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320)"

Palm OS5's Web Pro sets $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] to "Mozilla/4.76 [en] (PalmOS; U; WebPro/3.0.1b; palm-MT64)"

Using this information, theparsons.com tailors itself nicely to smaller screens (at least on handhelds running either Pocket IE or Web Pro).
